[Update] Version 2.0 - Full UI Control, Smart Paging, and demo-project

Version 2.0.0 of NPC-GPT is live! This update builds on the original AI-to-RPG bridge with a complete overhaul of the player-facing experience, tighter integration for dynamic events, and fresh assets to help you ship faster.

🎯 Fully Customizable Input & Response Windows

• Skinnable UI: You can now choose window/dim/transparent backgrounds, custom widths, positions (top/middle/bottom), and row counts for both userInput and displayResponse.

• Actor portraits & name boxes: Drop the player’s face and name into the window with one plugin argument.

• Word limit enforcement: Inputs respect a soft word cap without mangling spacing and now wrap at word boundaries.

💬 Smart Response Flow

• Multi-page replies: Long responses auto-paginate—players press OK to advance through the story, Cancel to exit early.

• Wait-mode safe: Events resume automatically after the response window fully closes; no manual switches needed.

• Portrait-ready: Face graphics now load asynchronously, refresh properly, and march in sync with input windows.

⚙️ Cleaner Commands & Docs

• Tabbed command tables spell out every argument for userInput, displayResponse, sendRequest, and characterContext.

• Itch.io sales page (plus Demo Project) is ready to copy-paste, complete with instructions and install guide.

• Template enhancements: The bundled sample project shows prompt → fetch → response loops, JSON context storage, and ai-ready request hooks.

🚀 Upgrade Notes

• The plugin file is the same name (NPC-GPT-Plugin.js); just drop in the new version.

• Check the updated plugin parameters—there are new defaults for window styling, face images, and response flow.

• Remember to credit Gamer Tool Studio, and you’re good to use the plugin in free or commercial projects.
